Chief of Staff to the CEO and Head of M&A

Career

José serves as Chief of Staff to the CEO and Head of M&A at medmix. In his role, he supports the effective operation of the CEO Office, drives strategic initiatives, and enhances executive communications and decision-making processes. He also leads medmix’ M&A activities, supporting portfolio development and growth across the company’s segments.

Before joining medmix, José built a strong foundation in strategy consulting with Deloitte and KPMG, where he advised multinational clients on corporate strategy, mergers and acquisitions, and transformation programs. During this period, he led projects across Europe for leading industrial and healthcare companies, helping them identify growth opportunities, optimize performance, and execute complex transactions. He later joined Aegon Group’s Corporate Development team, contributing to M&A execution and strategic projects supporting the company’s international expansion.

Education

José holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Management, a postgraduate degree in Corporate Finance from IEB University, and has completed the International Financial Markets Executive Program at the London School of Economics (LSE).
