Career

Philip Shen joined Applicator Systems Division – still a part of Sulzer then – in early 2021 to develop and build out the division’s positioning for the Chinese market. After the medmix spin-off he was then appointed Head of medmix China. Prior, Philip held various senior roles in multinational companies. From 2009 to 2019 Philip worked for Solvay, based in China, with the first five years in the position of a Strategy Director, followed by his tenure as Business Unit Peroxide Head of North Asia from 2014 to 2019. Before, Philip filled various positions such as Project Director at Sinochem, Business Development Manager at BP as well as Regional Sales Manager at ExxonMobil.

Education

Philip Shen holds a bachelor’s degree of Material Science from Harbin Engineering University, China.
