Packaging/ Waste
Within the European context the following directive applies:
“All the packaging must be appropriately labelled according to the procedures established by relevant UNI technical rules and in compliance with the resolutions adopted by the EU Commission, in order to simplify the collection, the reuse, the recovery and the recycling of packaging, as well as to provide the consumers with correct information with regard to the final destinations of packaging.The manufacturers must also indicate with regard to the identification and classification of packaging, the nature of the packaging materials used, according to the EU Commission Decision No. 97/129/CE of January 28, 1997.”
On top in Italy this legislative decree 116/2020 has come into force.
