Career

Andreas Friis-Hansen serves as Chief Operating Officer (COO) of medmix since September 1, 2026. He joined from Gerresheimer AG where he held the position as Global VP Operations, Primary Packaging Plastics with responsibility for 15 production sites across three regions. Prior to that, he worked in several General Manager and operational leadership roles with full P&L responsibility. Earlier in his career, Andreas built deep expertise in procurement, supply chain, and lean transformation at LEO Pharma and Maersk. He began his career in consulting with McKinsey & Company and Boston Consulting Group.

Education

Andreas holds a BSc. in Industrial Engineering, an MSc. in Ocean Engineering and a PhD in Probabilistic Models from the Technical University of Denmark. In addition, he holds a Graduate Diploma in Business Administration and a Board education from Copenhagen Business School.
